I work at the intersection of AI, law, and society.
As an AI legal & policy specialist, I have advised public, private, NGO, and research organisations on AI governance, digital regulation, and responsible innovation. My work has included European research initiatives such as ARMADILLO, AVALANCHE, and TwinAIR, as well as contributing to the ongoing work of the European Alliance for Industrial Data, Cloud & Edge.
I hold a PhD in Law and AI from King’s College London, where my research explored deepfakes, democracy, and the rule of law.
From 2020 to 2024, I also worked as a visiting lecturer at King’s College London on topics related to AI, law, intellectual property, and cybersecurity. In 2024, I co-directed and lectured a module on AI, Law and Society.
Today, my work spans advisory work, research, policy, academic writing, and public speaking, with a particular interest in how emerging technologies reshape institutions, public trust, influence research, democracy, and everyday life.
I also co-chaired the IEEE Power and Tech Committee, where I led an international team exploring how technology influences governance and society.
And when I’m not thinking about AI, you’ll probably find me writing, acting, listening to old-school rock, or finding new ways to understand what it means to be human in a very digital age.
